Heaven!

Heaven, I'm in heaven!
I've had Jimmy home for almost 2 weeks and it has been heavenly! Yes, I'm pretty sure this is what heaven is going to be like; spending time together as a family and a peaceful atmosphere. I'm so happy I have a few more days of Jimmyness and that he has a break for Chinese New Year... at which point we will be a family of 4 instead of just 3!
The miracle of all of this? I was still in China, while in heaven.
The hotel next to us is a sister hotel of the one we live in- the point is that they allow us to use their swimming pool. We went swimming tonight and it was so fun. Ali thought the pool was too cold but she liked the hot tub.
This hotel requires us to wear swim caps. Besides having no right to look so cute in his swim cap, Jimmy was the only one who enjoyed wearing his. This is Ali's reaction to us trying to put hers on.
She was loving the hot tub. It wasn't that hot. More like a warm bath tub.
We managed to snap a photo of Ali wearing Daddy's swim cap.
We were out for a walk yesterday and Ali fell asleep. We decided to grab a drink at a popular drink shop.
They make these drinks and then cover them with plastic. You don't pull back the plastic to drink it, you stab the straw into the top. The one we got was delicious and chocolately which is not typical of what people here order. Their drinks usual come with a lot thicker straws because they order BEAN DRINKS! Yes, liquid with whole beans in the bottom and as they are drinking their drink, they sip beans up through their straw! It's just pretty gross and not appetizing to watch.
Another thing that made this week feel like heaven? We bought cheddar cheese!!!!! But we're still in China so when I say we bought cheddar cheese, I mean that we sold our right arms to be able to buy the cheese. It was so worth it!
We bought these items on the table for $100. You never want to spend that much on some cheese, pasta, peanut butter and chicken but it was our Christmas present.
I mention we were still in China, even though we were in heaven, so we still got to see delicious hanging creatures at the market.
Gross and unbelievable that someone is gnawing on one of these creatures at their kitchen table right now.

Jimmy got a photo of these TCMS shoes at TESCO, not to be confused with TOMS.
And this little outdoor set up is where you would go if you needed a new tire or any repairs for your bike. This guy usually has business but he's currently taking advantage of the down time by taking a little nap.
