Today the sweetest girl in the whole wide world turned 2!
We were planning on having a tutu party yesterday but we all came down with the stomach flu a few days before so we canceled it. This is Ali the day before her party. Snuggles with her animals and a bottle. Poor little thing!
She was such a trooper. In between throwing up she would be outside with her best friend kitty Boots or playing on the trampoline.
The morning of her birthday we brought balloons and a couple small presents into her room. I hope I never forget the joy on her face when she saw all the balloons! Here she is wearing her birthday crown and looking at herself in her Minnie Mouse Mirror.
She loved her little baby kitties that she got.
Ali loves her daddy so much!!
James also enjoyed the balloons.
For breakfast she had pink milk and sprinkle pancakes.
Me and my bestest girlfriend!
What a big girl sitting at her birthday dinner.
She drank out of this fancy glass until she threw up. Literally.
Saddest thing ever. I feel so bad that she thew up on her birthday. Especially after she'd been sick a couple days before. She looked so terrified as she felt the familiar feeling coming back.
It didn't slow her down much. After a quick wardrobe change she relaxed for a couple minutes and then blew out her candle and opened presents.
She got so many cute things from grandparents and aunts, uncles and cousins! Thanks to all who helped make her day special.
Ali has such a sweet, tender heart. She loves people and loves playing with her friends. She loves animals and adores being outside. She could dig in the dirt from sun up till sun down. She likes jumping on the trampoline and swinging on the swings. She loves her bottle and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Ali is a big talker and can say just about any word, although sometimes it may take a little thinking to decipher what the word is. She is thoughtful and funny and silly but also serious and shy. I love her more each day. She gives the best hugs in the world! I cannot express how special she is and how my heart just melts when I see her. We are so lucky to have this sweet little girl in our family! Thank you Ali, for being you!! We love you to the moon and back!
