8 Months Old

The sweetest boy in the whole world turned 8 month old today!
I cannot get enough of his snuggles, kisses, giggles and sweetness!
I love this little face just after he wakes up!
 These two love the pool!

James is VERY close to crawling!  He sees something that he wants to go after and is really good at getting to it.  He can almost get into the crawling position from sitting.
Here is James with his new best friends.  To say he loves these kitties would be an understatement!

He is loving eating all his yummy food- bananas, sweet potatoes, pears, squash and yogurt are among his favorites.
James, you are the sunshine in our lives!  Thank you for being such a sweet baby!  We love you with all our hearts!!

Flashback

There are a handful of photos that I didn't blog about last month and I don't want to leave out the cuteness!
 Cuteness Exhibit A:
This boy is so lovable!
Exhibit B:
Love those sweet lips!
And this cutie pie is absolutely cute and silly and we LOVE her to pieces!

These next two photos are not staged.  I love the randomness!

 Perfection!
Disregard the pink bib.  Poor 2nd baby.  He's still cute even though he's not wearing a baseball bib.

There we go.  Tigers are manly, right?
 Such a good cook.
Eggs fresh from the oven.  Yum!
 And then microwaved.
Ali can play in all the baby seats because she's only 3 pounds heavier than James anyway.
 Snuggles!
Finger painting...
 to arm painting.

Ali has been obsessed with airplanes for a few months so it was fun to actually go in one!

The First Week Back

We're back in Texas and it's been a fun week of familiar Texas activities.
We played in a rainstorm, planted some garden and had a cookout.

To die for!!  These kids are too cute!!!
Ali learned how to get a drink from the hose.  It's been a favorite activity ever since.
 Adorable smile!
While Ali was out planting with Jimmy and Grandpa she had a little fun in the mud.
Silly little dance she did when I found her all muddy.

 Sweet girl!

 The planting glare.
 Grandpa the Farmer

Everyone getting their meat ready to cook.
We had hotdogs and Czech parky.  Dad is splitting the ends of the parky.  You eat it with spicy mustard and rye bread.  Yum-o!
 Beautiful Texas sky.
Ali still had to cuddle with a bottle.

James is getting ready to make a s'more.

The heat hasn't been as bad as we thought it would be.  We've enjoyed quite a few days outside and the weather will only get better from here on out.
